Through twelve generations spanning over three centuries, the Sparr family prides itself on a passion for passing on the history of Alsatian wine excellence. Every effort is made to capture the essence of each variety and terroir, including carefully managed yields in the vineyard, long, slow fermentations that may take up to three months, and extended lees aging.
The still wines express the varietal character the region is known for, from the racy minerality of the dry Riesling to the exuberant Gewurztraminer. The Cremants are elegant, with a fine bead, and are a delightful alternative to Champagne.
